Lado Oil and Chemicals Nigeria Limited was incorporated on 31st October 2001 as a private limited liability company.
Our fourth location, which is now the head office, was commissioned in December 2012. Nearly a year later, in October 2013, our fifth filling station was added, located along lsolo lkotun/Egbe road, Lagos.
In May 2018, the company acquired a mega station in Abuja, situated by Zuba junction beside Zenith Bank. In December 2018, another filling station was acquired at Ajah Axis. Since then we have acquired up to 11 new stations with the most recent station, located in Lagos Ibadan Express way, Olowotedo, Ogun State was acquired in January 2023..
Lado Oil formed another department for sales and distribution. This branch began the distribution of petroleum products to other filling stations in 2008 with one delivery truck.
Today, the company has over 40 trucks to deliver products to its various customers across Lagos, Ogun and Oyo. We distribute 30 million litres of PMS in a month, representing 30% of the total consumption of PMS in Lagos.
In 2014, we started the distribution of lubricants and other car care products. We have three trucks in this division to cater to our 150+ customers.
We compete favourably among our contemporaries and have become a force to reckon with in the industry. All our filling stations and trucks are self-financed as part of our motive to be self-sufficient throughout the business. We proudly work alongside 150 employees within our team.

From our modest beginning, we have been able to build a fleet of over thirty trucks that sells and distributes an average of 5 million litres of PMS weekly to a network of almost 100 filling pumps in and outside of Lagos.
We supply high-quality fuels to the marketplace for auto, home, and business. We are constantly evolving, seeking innovative ways to meet the ever-changing needs of the energy markets through innovation and operational efficiencies.
We have developed a world-class logistics and distribution business that conducts just-in-time (JIT) deliveries to our numerous customers.
We have been able to efficiently manage the logistics and procurement of PMS by maintaining a well-structured and organised staff that coordinates its activities in various tank farms in Lagos. This has helped us in no small way in ensuring the constant availability of the products that we distribute.
